To beat the competition, Deliveroo invested its marketing budget to launch its biggest outdoor campaign in Singapore. But the pandemic hit, and Singaporeans were forced to stay home.
With no one outside to see our campaign, we needed a way to reach our audience and show them why we’re better. So we delivered where our competitors don’t – the place where everyone goes to escape – Animal Crossing. We created virtual riders and sent in-game food to players, plus promo codes so they can get deliveries in real life. Proving that when we say we deliver anywhere, we mean it.
